Bandera County Preparedness Event

Join us for the Bandera County Preparedness Event on the third Saturday of September, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This event features:

  • Homesteading and self-reliance information

  • A vibrant Farmer’s Market

Our planning committee plays a vital role in making this event successful. From coordinating speakers and vendors to improving the event layout and ensuring a great experience for attendees, your input helps shape the future of preparedness in our community.

How to Get Involved

Event Planning Meetings are held on the first Friday of each month at 6:00 PM, typically via Zoom (Meeting ID: 830 535 2022). Occasionally, we meet on-site to review event capacity, layout, and discuss improvements.

If you’re passionate about preparedness and want to contribute, email us at Events@GuildsofRequiem.org to join the planning committee. Your ideas and efforts make a difference!

The Bandera County Preparedness Event is seeking knowledgeable and passionate presenters to share expertise on topics that help our community become more resilient and self-reliant.

Presentation Topics May Include:

  • Emergency preparedness and disaster planning

  • First aid, CPR, and basic survival skills

  • Homesteading and self-reliance (gardening, food preservation, water storage)

  • Off-grid power solutions and alternative energy

  • Community resources and volunteer opportunities

  • Self-defense and personal security basics
